BUSINESSES of all sizes are being reminded to register for Worcestershire Local Enterprise Partnership’s business plan breakfast workshop before the deadline of Friday, March 18.

The event on Wednesday, April 13 at the University of Worcester Arena, will look at future plans to grow the economy and further increase productivity and will show local businesses how they can be further involved in future plans for the county’s economy.

Presentations will highlight plans around the four key areas of the WLEP’s business plan: planning, infrastructure and development, employment and skills, business growth and profiling and promotion and an interactive working session will give businesses an opportunity to feedback and establish how they can be involved. In addition, Stuart Allen, founder of #WorcestershireHour, will share his message of how social media can be a powerful profiling and promotion tool for business.

Gary Woodman, executive director of the Worcestershire LEP, said: “The ambition of our local businesses continues to play an important part in the growing success of our economy. We are keen to meet local businesses to discuss the WLEP’s plans to further increase economic growth and productivity and for them to understand how they can be further involved. I would, therefore, strongly encourage businesses from across the county to register for our business plan workshop at the earliest opportunity and I look forward to working more closely with many more companies in the upcoming year.”

Registration is from 7am, for a 7.30am start, and the event will conclude at 10.15am. Places for the workshop are limited and the registration deadline is March 18.
