The Old Chapel is situated on the edge of Colwall Green, in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. The village of Colwall offers wonderful village amenities: Butcher and grocer, delicatessen with coffee shop, general store, public houses, restaurant, hotel, chemist and Post Office, village hall, cricket ground and churches, primary school and independent schools, and excellent rail links to Birmingham New Street and to London Paddington. The railway station in Colwall is one mile from The Old Chapel.
The cathedral cities of Hereford, Worcester and Gloucester are all within easy reach and the motorway network can be accessed via junction 2 of the M50, just four miles south of Ledbury, or via the M5 at Worcester, 12½ miles away.
The property is approached via double gates that open onto the driveway in front of the large single garage. There is a small front garden, gravelled and bounded by a low red brick wall and wrought iron railings. The garage has good sized boarded storage space in the eaves, light and power and is linked via a new, covered walkway to the house. There are exterior wall lights leading to the front door; these are set on a timer and have motion sensors. The driveway has space for two cars to park in tandem. The west-facing landscaped rear garden is level and completely enclosed. There is a new patio with warm, honey-coloured paving, and an area of level lawn, bounded by wooden fencing. A wildlife pond has been created close to the house.

From the offices of Hayes, Ledbury, proceed to the Top Cross in Ledbury and go straight over, following the A449 towards Malvern and Worcester. After approximately three miles, turn left towards Colwall, on the B4218. Proceed along this road for approximately 1 mile. Turn right at the Yew Tree inn, signposted Colwall Green. After 1/10th of a mile, turn left onto Evendine Corner.
The Old Chapel will be found a short distance along the lane on the left hand side, marked by the Hayes for sale board.
The Old Chapel dates back to 1858 and was converted in 2007 into a wonderful family home, very light and contemporary inside, retaining the calm atmosphere of the original chapel.
The sitting room is generously sized and well lit, with double doors out to the front gravelled patio and windows to both sides. Adjacent to the sitting room is the fourth bedroom, currently presented as a study and this room has direct access into the adjacent shower room. The kitchen/dining room is wonderfully light, with velux windows overhead and doors and windows looking through the new conservatory and into the garden. The kitchen/dining room has a range of high-gloss cream-fronted units, a kitchen island to match and a range of appliances: Chrome double oven and integral micro-wave, gas hob, dish-washer, washing machine and tall fridge-freezer. The conservatory, built to a high specification, adds a further reception room to the main house and creates a lovely, restful space between the kitchen and the garden.
The first floor has exposed beams and timbers. The main bedroom features the original stained glass window to the front of the property and a standard window to the side elevation. This bedroom also has excellent clothes storage within the new built-in wardrobes. The second bedroom is a double bedroom and has space to create built-in wardrobes in the alcove. The third bedroom is a good-sized single bedroom. The bathroom has a white bath, separate shower with a velux over, basin over the vanity unit and an obscure-glazed window to the side.
The property has a contemporary feel, with clean, white walls, recessed spotlights, chic vertical radiators and several doors with a pale hardwood fascia and a glass porthole.
