HMS Ledbury continues to play a leading role in naval exercises this week in the central Mediterranean.
This latest picture shows Ledbury riding off the 8,000-ton US Navy destroyer USS Barry during a maritime secuurity exercise.
At the closest point there was only 20 metres between the two ships.
Ledbury was acting as a rogue warship escorting a merchant vessel that was trying to break an arms embargo.
The USS Barry was trying to muscle in and protect the boarding team from a Royal Navy frigate, who were boarding the merchant vessel (played by HMS Roebuck).
