  • Castlemorton

    AUTUMN dates for the diary with regard to St Gregory's Church. On Sunday, October 7, there will be choral evensong from 6.30pm. On this occasion, we are delighted to welcome Malvern St James Choir. Sunday, October 14, is our harvest festival thanksgiving from 11.15am. Following the family service, there will be a bring and share lunch with arrangements as in previous years.     NEARLY 50 enthusiastic singers gathered on Saturday in Leigh Church and paid £10 for the privilege of spending the afternoon rehearsing a scratch performance of the Mikado. read more

    PRIZES for winning scarecrows were awarded last Wednesday in Powick Church. In total, 17 prizes were donated by various businesses in the community. read more

    WELL over 80 people attended the evening with Philip Serrell at the village hall on Friday and Tom Talbot is delighted to announce that the proceeds of the evening exceeded £600. read more

    FOUNDATION rowing racing takes place in Upton on Sunday around midday and watch out for those Monkey Island Dippers from Wellington Heath, who will be taking part again. read more

    THERE will be an open public meeting at the village hall on Tuesday from 7-9pm when the WestFest committee will announce the financial outcome of last month's event, and how the proceeds will be distributed. read more
