Recruiting new voices

VITAL Spark, a Malvern-based choir which performs church music from the 18th and early 19th Century, is looking to recruit new members in the run up to its popular Christmas season. Vital Spark is a four-part mixed voices choir with instruments such as the fiddle and concertina. It performs what is known as West Gallery' music, which is the vibrant and traditional music once performed in village churches. The choir is looking for enthusiastic singers of both sexes and rehearsals are on Wednesday evenings at 8pm in West Malvern Village Hall.
