  • Echoes from the past

    100 years ago The inspection of the members of the Malvern Fire Brigade will take place on Saturday, September 28, by Sir Henry Foley Grey, Bart, chairman of the district council, to be followed by sports, in which the firemen will take part. The time and place are not yet fixed, but they will be announced in next week's issue. It is to be hoped that the event will be favoured with fine weather, and there will be a large turn-out of spectators as a compliment, not only to Sir Henry Grey, but to the Chief Officer and men of the brigade, who render such excellent and valuable services on behalf of the public.
