  • Grants for education

    YOUNG female students in Upton could receive a helping hand paying for education. The Upton-upon-Severn Education Foundation, set up in the 18th Century, gives grants to young women in higher education.The group is currently considering applications, to be decided on Friday, September 29. Applicants must be female, aged under 25, and live or have parents resident in the Upton area.     UPTON Parish Church hopes to cook up a storm with its latest fundraising initiative. The church has organised a special lunch at Italian restaurant Puccini's on Sunday, September 9.
