    THERE will be a a crib service at 3pm on December 24 at St Margaret's Church, Corse with midnight mass at 11.30pm. read more

  • Powick

    CHILDREN, including those from Junior Church (from St James', Callow End) joined in the Christingle service held last Sunday morning at St Peter's Church. The service led by Reverend Sue Irwin began with the lighting of two candles on the Advent ring by Lucy Warburton and Kieran Shuard. Hymns reflected the theme of Christingle and oranges were distributed to the children and their candles lit. The Christingles were prepared for the children by Jenny Hill, Jo Walker, Thea Wild, Sally Gurney and Marion Lewis. The Diocesan Co-ordinator for the Children's Society, Susan Price, spoke of the work of the society among young run-aways, homeless youngsters and the disabled, and with refugee children. read more

    THIS Sunday morning at St James' Church, members of Junior Church will be presenting the Christmas story of the Nativity at the 9.30am service. Coffee and biscuits will be served following the service. All welcome. read more
