CHRISTCHURCH in Malvern is the venue for a fundraising Christmas concert in aid of Megan Baker House, which supports children with cerebral palsy and other conditions.

The concert, on Saturday, December 10, features soprano Linda Tolchard, who is a patron of the Leominster-based charity. This is the third year that Linda has performed for Megan Baker House and for many it’s a highlight of the pre-Christmas calendar.

Tickets for the concert are available now from Malvern Theatres box office.

And on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, comedienne Jo Brand will be performing at the Courtyard Theatre in Hereford. She is also a patron of Megan Baker House as well as of the theatre so the proceeds will be split between the two charities. Ticket information will be available soon.

Megan Baker House chief executive Lee Gough said: "These events are vital for us as we strive to raise the funds we need to maintain the services we provide and try to expand what we do still further.

“We depend very much on the regular generosity of so many people locally and these major events by our patrons make a huge contribution to our efforts. We do hope we’ll see all our regular supporters and as many new ones as possible at these and our other events.”
