WHEN early morning commuters arrived at Malvern Link station on Friday, September 30, they were offered with a hot cup of coffee or tea to see them on their way, thanks to Francis of Malvern raising money for Macmillan Cancer Support.
As part of the recent Macmillan World’s Biggest Coffee Morning, the team from the Malvern Link home furnishing company invited rail passengers to make a donation in exchange for their cuppa.
Francis of Malvern’s managing director Donald Mackenzie said: "Thanks to Peter Dobbin and his team at Malvern Link station for their support. It was an early start for us all, but worth every second, to see smiling faces with a hot drink and raise money for Macmillan. We started doing Macmillan coffee morning’s last year, but this year went bigger and we hope to make it an annual event.”
