A NIGHTSPOT is raising funds for the children of a popular Malvern woman who has died.

Priors Croft in Malvern will donate 10 per cent of its takings tomorrow (Friday) and Saturday for the two children of Emma Louise Timbrell.

Licensee Jon Roe said Ms Timbrell did not have much family and described it as ‘the most desperate situation you can imagine’.

He said: “She was a lovely, fun-loving woman who was well-liked by everybody, very outgoing.”

The former Chase High School pupil was a regular at Priors Croft, the restaurant and bar in Grange Road which has set up a tribute page for her on its Facebook page.

Susie McLachlan posted: “RIP Emma. We didn't see much of each other when we were older but we were good friends at primary school and I did still see you around Malvern. I'm sure you will be missed a lot. Thinking of your family xx.”

Rachel Smith posted: “RIP Emma, you are flying high now babes. Thinking of your family and little ones at this sad time.”

Kirsty Hopgood posted: “Such a strong woman and an amazing mother! Will be greatly missed my everyone.”

The Gazette understands Ms Timbrell was 34 years old and died on Tuesday, September 6.

A close friend, who did not wish to be named, said: "She loved listening to Dr in and bass.

"She was bubbly, caring and wanted to have a laugh all the time.

"She took me in when I had nowhere to go and she wanted to adopt me when I was nine."

The Gazette understands she worked full time and had a partner.

A police spokesman said: "We were called at 11.16pm on Tuesday (6 September) to a report of concerns for safety at a property in Baxters Walk, Malvern.

"Sadly, the body a woman in her 30s was found at the address. Next of kin have been made aware.

"The death is not currently being treated as suspicious and the coroner has been informed."

APOLOGY: We originally reported Ms Timbrell's surname as Trimbell not Timbrell and her age as 34 not 35 in this article and we apologise for the mistake.
